This was John’s 3rd Safari with PH Cullen Kelly and he was looking for a Cape Buffalo and a big warthog that had eluded him on his last 2 safaris. They hunted at the Zululand Rhino Reserve. They saw many very nice buffalo in the first couple of days. On the 3rd day they stalked up on I big heard and saw a great hard boss bull on the side of the heard. John made a good shot and managed to get himself a fantastic 40” trophy buffalo the way he wanted to hunt one. The next day John shot a huge 14” warthog.
