Our accommodations vary from one hunting area to the other but they are all very comfortable with sufficient hot and cold water, comfortable beds and in a secure environment. Most have electricity.
Limpopo, the beautiful private game reserve, up in the mountains above Rooiberg is where our new camp is situated. The camp accommodates 12 people in 3 different chalets, so it is great for individual hunters or bigger family groups. Each chalet has two bedrooms with bathrooms en suite, divided by a small cozy sitting area where one can relax. There is also a small kitchenette.
The open aired Boma is where one eats. In the evenings, with the fire burning, it always brings a sense of relaxation and calmness after a hard days hunting, while Tata, our long standing chef, cooks up yet another tasty meal. To add to the ambiance, the stars are spectacular on a cloudless night.
Limpopo, the game reserve is 30 000 hectares of free roaming space. It holds many different species of game, with excellent trophy quality. Limpopo has produced in the last two years an amazing amount of outstanding Kudu trophies, as well as Mountain Reedbuck, Klipspringer and Limpopo Bushbuck.
When our Limpopo camp is full, we have access to another camp, which is 10 minutes away from the South entrance to the Reserve, which is on the complete opposite side to the huge reserve. This camp, Kifaru has an old East African safari type feel to it and is beautifully decorated. It has tented style accommodation, which can also accommodate 12 people.
Meals are either eaten in the stylish dining room or outside under the stars, in the Boma, all done in colonial style.
Some of our hunting areas comprise of tented safari camps. These are very comfortable and have en suite bathrooms with hot and cold showers and a flush toilet. Most of these type of safari camps have electricity. One of your own chefs will join you on your safari to one of these rustic but beautiful camps.
