Plains Game Safaris

South Africa

South Africa is a truly wonderful country to visit and hunt in. Its topography is so diverse that a wide variety of species are found here. It is therefore imperative that you plan your safari carefully and allocate enough time to be able to hunt all your trophies, successfully avoiding disappointment.

Garry Kelly Safaris tailors all their safaris to the client’s specific requirements. Please peruse our species list, which you will find below for each province. It is important to keep in mind that we operate in most of South Africa’s provinces and can arrange a safari for you in any of these areas depending on your trophy requirements.

Many clients are concerned about the gun import requirements in South Africa. We make use of a number of companies, which you will see on our General Information page that specifically organize all your documentation and will meet you at the airport to clear you through customs. None of our clients have had any problems clearing customs with their guns while using these services recommended.

We hunt in the following provinces of South Africa and the list of species below will help you determine which areas you would like to hunt during your Safari.
