The Eastern Cape, lying on the southeastern South African coast, is a region of great natural beauty.
It consists of coastal forests through to semi desert plains and mountain ranges where there is a wide range of species available, amongst them the elusive Vaal Rhebok and Cape Grysbok.
Flat shooting rifles from .270 to .300 are ideal, and it is common to have to shoot up to 300 meters. Weather changes in the Eastern Cape can be quite rapid, varying from warm to very cold and warm clothing is imperative.
Traveling is required in order to hunt a full range of game. There are daily flights to Port Elizabeth and East London where you’ll be met by your hunter.
The species that are more specifically available in this area are as follows, Bontebok, Cape Eland, Gemsbok, Cape Grysbok, Cape Kudu, Red Lechwe, Black Springbok, Cape Springbok, Copper Springbok, White Springbok, Steenbok and Vaal Rhebok.
